On a beautiful fall day, Saturday, October 17, 2025, I particIpated along with many Montgomery County residents in a local "NO KINGS" protest on Main Street in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. It was really heartwarming to see many people come out to raise their voices against authoritarian and despotic leadership in our nation today. From all indications, other "No Kings" protest locations including Doylestown, Norristown, and Philadelphia saw a huge turn out of concerned Americans who gathered and peacefully protested against despotism, injustice and corruption.
Coalition for Racial Equity and Social Justice (C4J) honors families torn apart by United States current Immigration policy and we join our neighbors and fellow Pennsylvania residents to stand up against abuses of power, cruelty, and corruption and to demand freedom, dignity, and justice. Each "No King" protest, "Disappeared in America", and others are nonviolent gatherings that demonstrate the people's political power. These actions help build the collective power of the "We the People" and protect immigrant, marginalized communities, and all others as well as defend our democracy.

In the face of the current ongoing injustice and violations of human dignity and rights, the more we gather collectively and denounce autocracy and injustice, it shows that we are not powerless. We must continue to rise and stand up together in cultural solidarity and demand truth, transparency, justice, accountability and freedom. We must speak out against any attempt at "Kingship", defend our democratic republic and affirm that our communities of color will not be wiped out.

Today, Activism is not a choice - it is the survival of true democracy, our freedom, and our rights. C4J suggests that our audience seek out gatherings like "no King", "Disappeared in America' or similar Social Justice protests in their area whenever they are organized and participate in such a powerful local action and speak out until everyone in our communities is safe. Together let's reimagine what is possible in a democratic republic.

REMEMBER - AMERICA HAS NO KINGS!
