Grant will expand youth leadership development and strengthen community-centered social justice efforts in Montgomery County.
Coalition4Justice is honored to receive a $3,500 grant from the Azfal Family Foundation in support of our YouthBuild Social Justice Leadership Education Program. This investment will help us equip young people—especially those most affected by systemic inequities—with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead change in their schools, neighborhoods, and communities. Through the program, students develop civic leadership, organizing, and advocacy skills and apply them to real community challenges. By investing in youth leadership, the Azfal Family Foundation is helping us strengthen community voice, advance equitable practices, and grow the next generation of social justice leaders.
We are deeply grateful to the Azfal Family Foundation for investing in our mission. Their support will help us recruit and train more young people in Montgomery County and expand opportunities for youth to become informed, effective leaders. Together, we are building more just, welcoming, safe, and peaceful communities where every resident feels seen, valued, and connected.
