About the event

We are looking forward to our upcoming Community Conversation. Our conversations are held via Zoom on the fourth Monday of each month. We had paused these conversations for the holiday season. We now welcome our community back with a  conversation that is based on a September 2020 panel discussion sponsored by The Century Foundation: “How to Implement Reparations in America”. The Century Foundation is a progressive, independent think tank that conducts research, develops solutions, and drives policy change to make people’s lives better. (https://tcf.org/about/). How far have we come since 2020? What can we do today?

Please view the video posted below prior to our meeting. How do the topics and points raised resonate with the seeds of justice that we are seeing being planted in Philadelphia by the Mayor’s Commission on Faith-Based and Interfaith Affairs? Please join us for a conversation about the history of reparations in America, the work being done in Philadelphia and how we can further the work.
